Our Mission: Better Medicare for People with Disabilities

The focus of American Medicare Disability Advocates is to ensure that people with disabilities gain access to the Medicare benefit options they deserve. At every stage of life, people with disabilities are marginalized or even overlooked. Nowhere is this truer than in healthcare. For far too long, people with disabilities have been denied access to the full range of Medicare options because, for one, their disability proved a hurdle to the standard enrollment approaches taken by healthcare providers and the government, and two, they have wrongly deemed a greater risk, and higher cost, simply because of their disability. Click here for help!

We think people with Disabilities deserve Medicare Options

At American Medicare Disability Advocates, we know that most people with disabilities are not sick, and they deserve the full range of options to Medicare benefits they have earned, specifically when broader offerings of benefits could clearly benefit them. At American Medicare Disability Advocates, we promise to fight for people with disabilities to make sure they are treated with the dignity they deserve and that they receive customized assistance in the selection of the Medicare benefits they need. All Americans deserve access to healthy and well-informed lives. Click here for help!

You may be eligible for many more benefits

Many people in the disability community are missing out on Medicare options offered to the broader community at large. This is due, in part, to the additional level of complexity in communication with this population and a lack of understanding of the specific needs of people with disabilities. Almost all requests for Medicare information are directed to the limited Social Security Administration website. Click here for help!
